Facebook: The worst invention for the malcontent
Perhaps it’s selection bias, or people are good at exaggerating their social profile, but Facebook is a rather depressing place for the malcontent. No worse time is than when you find people you went to school with and who, in life, you thought were generally going to remain less attractive, successful or popular than you, and they now have double the number of Facebook friends, look like models, and are having the time of their lives. The mind says: Good on them. The heart says: Proof there is no God!
